My directing focus is on commercial work, documentaries, music videos and narrative feature film and television projects.
My documentary short ‘The Real Cost of Coffee’ filmed in Rwanda reached the final four Best Documentary Short’s at the Cannes World Film Festival in 2024.
Growing up in Hobart, Tasmania, I was always drawing comics or making sets from cardboard and using all manner of household items. Building worlds of high-stakes drama with old Thunderbirds toys, Lego, and Blu-Tack.
I started writing and directing short films in my teens and helping friends out in various roles on sets, including acting, working as an assistant/runner, and editing. I started professionally editing and shooting content for Tasmania’s Festival of Voices, MyState, and the Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery to name a few.
Now in Sydney, I have worked at various production companies as an in-house creative/director/editor and producer. I have made films for clients including NRMA, ANZ, Darrell Lea, General Electric, NSW Health and TAFE NSW.
